Art for Acres Auction
Join us under the tent at Oak Point Farm for an evening that is sure to inspire you! See the farm transformed with works of art filling the farmhouse walls and stone sculptures lining the trail. Enjoy great food all evening long as we auction off countless works of beauty all for a great cause! BRLT’s quadrennial Art Auction gala will showcase a mix of incredible art donated by the region’s many noteworthy artists. Pieces will include paintings, mixed media, photography, jewelry and much more. Sculptures created during the Stone Symposium will be auctioned as well. John Bottero, formerly of Thomaston Place Auction Galleries, with over 30 years of experience, will be our auctioneer for the evening. Tickets to this special event include hors d’oeuvres and a full dinner provided by Seacoast Catering & Lobster Bakes, an open bar, music, and the ability to participate in both live and silent auctions. Come out for an unforgettable night to support land conservation and public access. Tickets are $150 each; or for $1,500, you can enjoy a VIP table including 8 tickets reserved for you and your select guests.
2023 Boothbay Symposium
This year’s symposium will take place at the Boothbay Region Land Trust. Six of our sculptors will each produce an original work over the ten day period, which will then be auctioned off during the Art for Acres: Stone Symposium & Art Auction. Participating sculptors include Andreas Von Huene, Dan Ucci, Isabel Kelley, John Catizone, Joseph DiMauro, and Sam Finkelstein.
Hallowell Granite Symposium 2021
We are so excited for Hallowell Granite Symposium!
Come watch six Maine artists carve sculptures out of Hallowell granite September 11- 19 on the grounds of Stevens Commons. This free outdoor will be open daily 10am to 4pm.
